About Us
Our mission is simple, to map the many hidden gems of the world. For science, for fun, and for all to see.
Wrecks:
Mapping wrecks is a simple way to preserve history while allowing us to visualise the wrecks condition at the same time. In doing so, we can better monitor the wrecks decay and understand the potential risks to health and safety and the environment.
Cave:
The cave models generated offer a real insight into the geological formations present, where we can see actual variations in strata, allowing us to understand and analyse geological history in a completely new way. It also aids in understanding determine where potential connections may lie in cave exploration.
Reef:
Mapping reefs can help us monitor changes in species composition and health by completing regular surveys and key areas. It also helps us to visualise and plan dives.
Crags: For the keen climbers there can be a real advantage in being able to visualise a climb before you send it, and really wrap your head around what you're trying to achieve. In this space we plan on mapping the more difficult crags for you focus on.

Founder | Environmental Scientist | Aspiring Photogrammetrists
Tam Durney is an Environmental Scientist, adventurer enthusiast and passionate environmentalist. Tam's a country kid who grew up riding bikes, rallying cars and exploring the seemingly endless back yard at home. So it was only natural he'd end up exploring mountains, caving and diving.
Tam has mapped a number of newly discovered dry caves with Newcastle Hunter Valley Speleological Society (NHVSS). A club he's fortunate enough to be the Vice-President of. He's also an authorised Research Officer contributing to the Australasian Underwater Cultural Heritage Database (AUCHD), and member of the Australasian Institute for Maritime Archaeology (AIMA).
